FediDay 2026 –
The 3rd Berlin FediDay is a networking event for people in the Fediverse. Through talks, workshops and networking opportunities, we aim to spread knowledge about the Fediverse, promote creative solutions and strengthen dialogue between developers, admins, academia, civil society and content creators. The conference will take place from 11–13 September 2026 at Berlin’s c-base, in the attic and at the ETI Theatre School, all located at Rungestr. 20 in Berlin.
We’ve kept the admission price low so as not to exclude anyone from the community. At the same time, however, we need to cover the cost of venue and equipment hire, the Engel buffet, transport and various other expenses. We have a limited number of discounted tickets available. If we sell Supporter Tickets during the pre-sale period, we will increase this allocation accordingly. If you or your company are able to support FediDay financially, you have the option to set the price for the Professional Supporter Ticket yourself.
Fediday is organised by members of the community who have been volunteering for over half a year to put on a low-budget conference. To ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible, we definitely need ‘angels’ – that is, ‘helping hands’ – to support us. You’re probably familiar with the ‘angel’ system at Chaos events. Please consider whether you’d like to help out for around 8 hours – whether it’s with setting up, in the lecture rooms, behind the information desk or bar, or with other tasks. It’s definitely a great way to meet interesting people and get a glimpse behind the scenes. As a thank you, we’re offering all ‘angels’ discounted entry, a brunch buffet and an Angel T-shirt. If you’d like to support us, please click to purchase an ‘angel’ ticket (only one ticket per order) and select a size during the ordering process. We’ll contact you by email to allocate your tasks. Angel Tickets are limited, don't hesitate too long!
With our FediDay T-shirts and hoodies, you can help spread the message of a free, democratic and open social media network. And, of course, you’ll be supporting the event. (The garments are made by Stanley/Stella from 100 % GOTS-certified organic cotton and recycled materials, weighing 180 and 350 grams respectively, with high-quality digital printing).
